Look at the size of those roots. Did you guess the age of these trees? Seems like they could be hundreds of years old but they were planted in 1952. That makes them 63 years old. They are just starting to put out the extra stabilizing root that banyon trees typically do as seen in the last picture. At this point they are very thin and have not yet reached the ground. Time will show big changes. Great fun!!
