Say Goodbye to Mama's Fish House and Hawaii

We were given a unique postcard as we left Maui of several Hawaiian Mamas. And Marv poses with the Tiki himself. Aloha!

And More Mama's

The adventure and beauty continues.

More Mama's Fish House

The pots were really fun. Benches and tables were sculpted from beautiful mammoth pieces of wood.

Mama's Fish House in Paia

Just east of Kahului, the airport city of Maui, we had a late lunch at Mama's Fish House in Paia, near Hookipa Beach. Many locals mentioned this restaurant so we decided to visit on our last precious day in Maui. This restaurant was eccentric yet exquisite. We had a roof, but it was totally open air. And it was on a beach with 5 layers of waves. It was just a breathtaking view. And the food was scrumptious. The iguana pattern was the sidewalk.

St Therese's at Kihei

We stopped in at a local church, St Therese, before heading out of town on our last day in Maui. The wood statues, taller than real life, were gorgeous. The first one is the Virgin Mary looking quite different from how we usually picture her, but isn't she lovely. Next was St Marianne, with a description of what St Marianne did in her life. This one is for my friend Marianne! And a more classical Virgin Mary and St Therese.

Signing Off With a Sunset

More beautiful scenery with twists and curves. Some of that scenery atop a one lane road. But it is always lovely to close the scenery with a beautiful sunset.

Heading Away From Hana

The scenery moved from jungle to rocky to grazing areas. The ocean was often in view. Today held too much remember! Amazing sites!
